Development

Jacques Cilliers, R&D Manager

I grew up in the Bushveld, and matriculated in Pietersburg. After school I studied computer science through Unisa. I joined CRS in 1999, and I was involved in rewriting the CRS AS/400 system for the Windows environment. I now look after the R&D Department, where we are passionate about software development, while not forgetting to have fun along the way. At home I’m the father to a lovely princess and a very active little boy. Although I’m a couch potato most of the time, I also play a bit of golf, and I like adventurous challenges such as parachuting and diving.

Annesie Fourie, Developer

I joined CRS in 2002 as part of the development team. Prior to my career as a professional geek, I led a life of quiet dignity as a traveller, disc jockey, paintbrushmaker, jewelry seller, bookpacker and law student. These days I am saving the world one SQL statement at a time, diligently coding away on Workplace Skills Plans, Employee Relations, and Menu Level Securities. When I’m not behind my laptop, I am busy climbing mountain sides, spinning tunes, or accumulating books, cats and identical black skirts.

Danie Olivier, Developer

I joined the CRS family in 2005, after completing my degree in Software Development at the then PE Technikon. The first thing that struck me about CRS was the great group of different, dedicated people making up the CRS family, which is one of the reasons that I am still here today. I am responsible for programming, client installations, technical support and documentations. I love the outdoors, especially the sea – hence my favorite pastime: fishing.

Lorenzo Adrian, Q & A

I began working at CRS in August of 2010 and am extremely passionate about Quality Assurance. I’m very excited to be a part of the Development Team and I’m looking forward to making a positive contribution to the Q&A side of things. I have two kids that keeps me busy 24/7 so most of my free time is spend in the gym sweating it out. I also love the outdoors, playing golf, hiking and theatre.

Colleen Paulse, Graphic Designer

I joined CRS in 2011 as part of the development team, as the Graphic Designer. My interest is Design, it’s what drives me, it’s anything I can create and animate: branding, web design, publishing, and photography. It’s what feeds me most in the world and I am excited to share this with the CRS family. When I’m not behind my laptop, I enjoy adventurous activities like camping, quad biking in sand dunes or simply going to the theatre with a friend.

Marisan de Lange, Business Analyst

I spent many years in the gaming industry across traditional and social platforms before joining CRS in 2011. I am inquisitive and delight in discovering new things and I believe that life is more meaningful when we work in order to do something great, something of value.

I’m passionate about business analysis and improvement. As the bridge between business and IT, BA’s are the diplomats and the translators, and this allows me to actively participate in the creation of new and exciting cutting edge solutions.

My primary focus is Business Intelligence, Management Intelligence, System Analysis, Business Analysis, and Business Process Re-Engineering.

My free time is taken up by reading and general geekery.
