UIF CONTRIBUTION LIMIT
It is important that employers note the following:

 

Unemployment Insurance Contribution limit effective date

Government Gazette No. 44641 was published on Friday, 28 May 2021 to announce the effective date and limit on the remuneration amount for contribution purposes in terms of the Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act.

Effective 1 June 2021, the contribution limit has been increased to R17 712 per month.

The monthly contributions limit value is now the same as the monthly benefit limit value. The limit announced in the 2021 Budget Review in February 2021, was R17 711,58.
