With effect from 1 March 2023 the NMW will be:

·        R25,42 per ordinary hour worked;

·        R25,42 per ordinary hour for farm workers;

·        R25,42 per ordinary hour for domestic workers;

·        R13,97 per ordinary hour for workers employed on an expanded public works programme.

In addition, the Minister of Employment and Labour published revised rates of pay for employees in the contract cleaning sector, employees employed in terms of learnership agreements, and employees in the wholesale and retail sector.
