The submission period for the COIDA return of earnings (ROE) has been extended through the publication on 30 May 2023 of Government Gazette (GG) No. 48673, Notice 1483 of 2023.
The initial assessment submission window, which had been scheduled to run from 1 April to 31 May 2023, has been extended to 30 June 2023.
In the same notice, the earnings threshold for provisional earnings has been confirmed. This after there was a contradiction between the threshold published in GG No. 48065, Notice 1617 of 17 February 2023, and GG No. 48184, Notice 1668 of 10 March 2023.
The earnings threshold for provisional earnings for the 2023-2024 tax year is R568 959.
