Ceiling limits for sickness and maternity social security contributions
On 18 August 2023 the Lebanese Ministry of Finance issued Decree No. 11928, published in the Official Gazette No. 35 of 24 August 2023, to modify the ceiling limits for sickness and maternity social security.

From 1 September 2023 the annual NSSF ceiling for sickness and maternity contributions increased to LBP 216 million (i.e., LBP 18,000,000 per month instead of LBP 5,600,000 currently).

These changes have resulted in the following monthly contribution amounts for employees and employers:
