COIDA COMPENSATION CALCULATIONS AMENDED
It is important that employers note the following:
Schedule 4 of the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases (COID) Act amended
Government Gazette 50909 Notice 2616 of 2024 was published on 5 July 2024 whereby the Minister of the Department of Employment and Labour amended Schedule 4 of the COID Act for accidents that occurred from 1 April 2024, as well as occupational diseases diagnosed from 1 April 2024.
The minimum and maximum compensation set out in the notice will be implemented with effect from 1 April 2024.
