NATIONAL DAILY MINIMUM WAGE 2025
It is important that employers note the following:

Determination of the National Daily Minimum Wage (NDMW)
In line with Section 113 (1) (a) of the Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651), the National Tripartite committee (NTC) concluded negotiations on the determination of the 2025 NDMW at its meeting held on Thursday, 20 February 2025.

The committee approved a 10% increase in the 2024 NDMW, resulting in a new NDMW of GHS19.97. This equates to a monthly wage of GHS539.19, based on 27 working days per month.

Effective 1 March 2025, employers must adjust their wages. Additionally, the 2025 NDMW should be tax-exempt.
