EXTENDED FILING DEADLINES FOR 2024 ANNUAL TAX RETURNS
It is important that employers note the following:
Algeria provides deadline extension for 2024 annual tax returns
On 14 April 2025 the General Directorate of Taxes (DGI) issued a communique to announce an extension of the deadline for filing annual tax returns for the 2024 financial year.
While the standard deadline is 30 April of the following year, the filing deadline has been extended to 31 May 2025. As this date falls on an Algerian rest day, the deadline is further extended to the next business day in Algeria, which is 1 June 2025.
For employers, this extension applies to:
- Annual income tax declarations (Forms G No. 04 and G No. 11) and their annexes.
- Annual declaration of salaries and wages (Form G No. 29).
